Anonymous reader’s question:

I have a big problem. I am a girl in my twenties and have to choose between two men. I am not in a relationship with either of them, but both made it clear that they are interested. The one guy is my age, is friendly, and we have much in common. The problem, though, is that I am not as crazy about him as I am about the other guy – who is 15 years older than me. I feel as if I could spend the rest of my life with him, but I am concerned about our age difference, and also about what my family and friends would think. What should I do? How do I choose?

Response:

Anonymous, when one leaves school age differences do not matter anymore. Perhaps family and friends may be unhappy, but whose happiness is at stake here? You have to live with that person, and not your family or friends. Put your own happiness first, irrespective of which one you choose.
